Josephine "Jo" Crowson Ashcraft, 83, of Pine Bluff went to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 17, 2013. She was born in Leola on Nov. 26, 1929, to James Franklin "Frank" and Velma Blake Deer Crowson. She grew up in Tull and graduated from Bauxite High School. Jo, Josephine, Mother, Grandma Jo, Aunt Jo, GG, Great Grandmother were all names that her friends and family used often, because Jo was someone everyone loved to be around. She had a way of making others feel special.

Charles Wayne Allen, 65, a resident of the Fairplay Community near Benton, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013.Â
Charlie was born in Malvern, to Clarence and Geneva Allen. He worked for Rock Island Railroad and then spent the next 30 years as a freight broker in the trucking industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael S. Malarick, 52, of Benton died Wednesday March 13, in Little Rock. He was born August 27, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. Michael was a Truck Driver and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Malarick, sons, Scott Malarick and Kevin Malarick, both of Chicago, Illinois; daughter, Ashley Lee, Cabot; Parents, Ronald and Marie Malarick, Orland Park, Illinois; sisters, Susan Weber and Jennifer Troutman, both of Orland Park, Illinois; aunt, Tootsie Borders, Argo, Illinois.
Cremation services are through Ashby Funeral Home.
Brandy Ann Baxley Hargrove, 40, of Galveston, Texas, passed away Feb. 4. She was born Jan. 30, 1973, in Little Rock to Shirley Moore Berry and Thomas Gerald Baxley.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Berry and husband Raymond; her father, Tommy Baxley; a daughter, Tara Hargrove; and a son, Raymond Thomas Berry, all of Texas; a sister, Jamie Sue Leigh of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a special companion, Jeff; and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Bauxite Cemetery with John Baxley officiating.Â
Gladys Oleen Henry, 91, of Benton passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. She was born Oct. 11, 1921, in Hot Springs. Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Effie Carpenter; her husband, Rome James Henry; a son, Rodney Doyle Henry; two brothers and four sisters.
Raymond G. Arey, 78, of Haskell, passed away on Wednesday, March 13.Â
Raymond honored God, and country, and adored his family. Born on Dec. 24, 1934, he graduated from Harmony Grove High School in 1954, served his country in the U.S. Air Force and attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. Raymond owned and operated several businesses: Arey’s General Store from 1972 to 1992; Homes 4 U, a mobile home dealership; and RGA Properties, a property management company. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton.

Susan Anne Jeffery, 50, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. She was born March 8, 1963, in Benton. She enjoyed reading, collecting frogs, and cherished her canine companions, Boo and Sam, and grand-dog, Zacky. Susan was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a pharmacy Tech and was a former president, vice president, and board member of the American Association of Pharmacy Technicians.
Rosa Morelli, 88, of Benton, formally of Morrilton, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013. She was born Jan, 25, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Carmine and Rosina Marack Morelli.
Rosa was a secretary and worked in the United States Naval Yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Harrison Stover; brothers, two Louis Calabrese and Anthony Morelli; and three sisters, Adaline Saladino, Anna Wallin and Mary Montmore.
William Carrell McCallister, 75, of Benton, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, from cancer. He was a Christian and a member of Temple Baptist Church in  Benton. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He was born Aug. 23, 1937 in England, Ark., to the late William and Eula McCallister.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother to his five children, Loretta McCallister: three brothers, Luther, Edward, and Roger McCallister; and one sister, Lenora Allen.
Carolyn Greene, 75, passed away March 9 in Hot Springs Village. She was born Feb. 19, 1938, to Larkin and Ida (Benson) Gardner in Hampton.
Carolyn was retired from state government after many years of service, which included serving as an investment manager for Arkansas State Treasurer Jimmie Lou Fisher.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, JT Gardner; and one sister, Anita Rigal.
