Mary Lois (Hollinger) Pearson, 89, of Bauxite died Oct. 14, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant.
She was born July 18, 1924, in Prattsville, to the late John Wesley and Nancy (Roberts) Hollinger.
She was a secretary for Kraft Foods of Little Rock and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Sardis. She taught Sunday School at various churches for more than 60 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. "Woody" Pearson; a sister, Joann Walters; and four brothers, Dennis, Bernice, Charles and Ralph Hollinger.
John H. Manasco, 84, of Benton passed away Oct. 13, 2013, at Fort Roots. Born May 15, 1929, in Beebe, he was the son of Louis Frank Manasco and Bertha Manasco.
Mr. Manasco was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his sons, John H. Manasco Jr. and David Louis Manasco.
He is survived by his children, Sheila Standley, Tammy Harrison and Jeff Manasco; and many other relatives and friends.
Randy Lee Dorsey, 54, of Little Rock died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013.
Randy was born Aug. 28, 1959, in Little Rock to the late Boyd and Norma (Riffle) Dorsey.
Randy was a deacon and the facilities director at Central Church of Christ. He was retired from AT&T and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time, but most of all he spent time serving others.
Jeffery â€śJeffâ€ť Troy Pruett, 43, of Bauxite passed away on Oct. 11, 2013.
He was born Nov. 9, 1969, to Troy Pruitt Jr. and Mary Ann Pruett in Little Rock.Â Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends.Â He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing the drums.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tori Pruett.
Francis "Frank" McCarthy, 70, of Bauxite passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013. He was born June 10, 1943, in Newport, Vt.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary McCarthy.
He was a member of the Benton Senior Adult Activity and Wellness Center, where he loved playing dominos with his center friends. Frank also loved to fish and hunt.
Survivors include two sons, Greg McCarthy and Ion McCarthy; a daughter, Erin McCarthy; and a sister, Jeannie Cunningham-Berry.
Memorials may be made to the Benton Adult Activity and Wellness Center.
Robert Ralph Moser, age 74, of Benton passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013. He was born July 26, 1939, in Thayne, Wyo. Robert was a self-employed engineer and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Helen Moser.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Moser of Benton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robbie and Jessica Moser of Cabot and Russell and Natalie Strange of Vilonia; two daughters Tracy Moser-Smith and husband Andy of Little Rock and Katherine Higgins of Sherwood; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Ernest E. â€śGeneâ€ť Ballard, 84, on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, had a special
meeting with his Lord Jesus: It was Face to Face. Gene was born March 12, 1929 in Benton, Ark., and is survived by his wife of 64 years, Vonceille; three sons, Glenn (Paige) Ballard of Little Rock, Sam (Becky) Ballard, and Steve (Debbi) Ballard; and a daughter-in-law, Cindy Ballard, all of Benton. He enjoyed his five grandchildren: Jason Ballard, Brook Neufer, Kelsey Schramko, Anna Ballard and Harrison Ballard; and seven great- grandchildren.
Preceding Gene in death were his parents, Sam and Mary Ballard of Benton;
Ronald George â€śRonnieâ€ť Young, 65, of Bauxite passed away Oct. 10, 2013, in Benton.Â He was born Oct. 24, 1947, to the late George O. and Anna (Barchoni) Young in DuBois, Pa.Â He worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a signalman and was a member of APA and the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalman and a Catholic.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Nelson.
Christine Enfield, 50, of Benton passed away on Sept. 28, 2013. She was born Dec. 24, 1962, to Charles and Viann Kueber in Flint, Mich.
Callie Brewer Tabor, 101, of Magnet Cove passed away Oct. 10, 2013. She was born Dec. 30, 1911, in Oden to the late Maudie Jane Abernathy Brewer and Ben F. Brewer.
Callie was a homemaker who loved gardening, quilting and tending her Iris. She was of the Baptist faith.Â
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Tabor; a son, Claude Elton Tabor; two brothers, Clarence Brewer and Cleve Brewer; seven sisters, Rubba Brewer, Clara Smith, Bernice Kirtley, Ruth Nichols, Ruby Kirtley, Cleo Morris and Jean Couch; one grandson, three great-grandsons and one great-great-grandson.
