Mary Tucker Phillips, 92, departed this life on Thursday, Aug. 1. She was born Oct. 23, 1920, in Gurdon, to Robert and Irene Tucker. She grew up in Gurdon and in 1943 married Harold Phillips. They raised their children in North Little Rock.
After moving to Benton, she belonged to First United Methodist Church, the Dorcas Sisters Sunday School Class and the senior group, Don't Mention Age. She was member of Provincia de La Sal Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
Euell Franklin â€śJaboâ€ť Edmonson, 83, of Bauxite passed away at his home Friday, Aug. 2, 2013.
He was born June 21, 1930, in Bauxite to the late David Frank and Alice Henthorne Edmonson.
Mr. Edmonson was a sign painter and wildlife artist and was one of the first five individuals inducted into the Bauxite Sports Hall of Fame.
He was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church and the Bauxite Old Timers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, D F. Edmonson and Bill Edmonson.
Clifford Oâ€™Neal Jones, 29, of Benton passed away July 30, 2013.Â He was born May 22, 1984 in Little Rock to Neal Jones and Elizabeth Hawkins Jones Stephens.
Cliff was a free spirit, enjoying outdoor sports, fishing and hunting, and the thrill of selling cars.
Clifford was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Hawkins; his grandmother, Lavern Jones; and his beloved dog, Debo.
Carra Jo Toler, 85, of Bryant passed away July 31. She was born Dec. 5, 1927, in Marianna, to the late Horace Bonner and Vivian Wild.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bryant. Carra Jo retired from the Internal Revenue Service, after serving as a homemaker for a number of years. She enjoyed spending time with her family on Lake Ouachita and rocking babies in the church nursery.
She delighted in all activities which involved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their friends. In fact, she affectionately became known to all who knew her as GG, for Great-Grandma.
Wilma Bunch, 82, of Traskwood passed away July 31, 2013.Â She was born March 25, 1931, in Little Rock to the late David and Montana Burton Styers.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Bunch and Kenneth Bunch; a daughter, Patricia Vocque; a brother, Elmer Styers; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at the funeral home.

Ronald Gerald Moore, 65 of Benton met our Lord on July 31, 2013. He was born May 27, 1948, in Pontiac, Mich., to Lloyd Gerald Moore and Joyce M. McKendry Moore.
Elizabeth Joann Goad, 73, of Bryant passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru, Ill. Elizabeth was born Aug. 24, 1939, in Clinton, Ill., to Martin and Edna Jewell (Poland) Sprague. She married Lester Eugene Goad on March 23, 1958, at State Street Baptist Church in Lincoln, Ill.
Elizabeth was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Benton. She was a dedicated Christian, faithful wife and loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Audrey Cox and Wilma Smith; and her brother, Lester Sprague.
Raymond Eugene Abbott, age 68, passed away July 29, 2013. Raymond was born on September 14, 1944, in Little Rock.
Raymond was a member of Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church. He retired out of the aviation industry. He loved helping people.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Abbott and Rosa Abbott-Mullings; two sons, Raymond Eugene Abbott and Patrick Eugene Abbott; and siblings, Rosemary Moak, Billy Abbott, Fay Harris, and Danny Jack Mullings.
Clara Ellen Bacheller Henry, 94, of Stuttgart passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Heartland Health and Rehab in Benton.
Mrs. Henry was born Dec. 9, 1918, in Haglar, to Hiram W. Bacheller and Mary Lee Chaddic Bacheller.
A Stuttgart High School graduate, she became a homemaker after working as a colonelâ€™s stenographer at Camp Robinson during World War II.
D. Derrell Davis, 72, of Bryant passed away on July 28, 2013.
He was born in Mena on May 9, 1941, to Doyne and Hilda Davis. Derrell graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1962 where he served as president of the Student Council.
He received his JD Degree from University of Arkansas School of Law in 1971 where he was a member of the Arkansas Law Review, Top Student in Taxation, and ranked second in his class.
