Joyce Garmer

Joyce Garmer, 89, a nurse, passed away Oct. 1, 2013. She was born June 28, 1924, in Benton. Joyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to taking care of others and her family.  
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Russell Garmer; a son, Joe Garmer; a daughter, Vicki Christian and husband Ron; grandchildren, Paul, Sean and Stephanie Garmer; a brother, Tommy Gatlin and wife Myrt; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Shirley Ann Nolan

Shirley Ann Nolan, 71, of Bryant passed away Oct. 1, 2013.  She was born Dec. 9, 1941, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to the late Carl and Lonnie Bell McCray Wessell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis Nolan; and a sister, Hazel Allen.
She is survived by a son, Mitch Nolan of Gurdon; four daughters, Christie Martin and husband Joe of Bryant, Michelle Brown of Bryant, Lisa Richardson of Conway, and Rosemary Howard and husband Rickey of Benton; a brother, Jimmy Wayne Randolph of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Charlotte Ann Simpson

Charlotte Ann Simpson, 73, of Bryant departed this world on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, for her journey home to be with Jesus our Lord.  She was born July 25, 1940, to Bennie Ray and Juanita Griffe in Little Rock. 
Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Douglas Ray Griffe.

Frank D. Snodgrass

Frank D. Snodgrass, 65, of Benton passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, in North Little Rock. He was born Feb. 11, 1948, in Charleston, W.Va., to the late Merle Cornelius and Helen (Huffman) Snodgrass.
Mr. Snodgrass was of Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He worked at Reynolds Metals; was an employee of the Benton Police Department, having served as a sergeant in the criminal investigation division; and also was a postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Bertrum Dominic Snodgrass.
