Pauline Clemmons, age 67, of Benton, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014.Â She was born May 30, 1946. in Benton to the late John James Wills and Leon Smith Wills.
Mrs. Clemmons was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.Â Â
She is survived by her son, Kelly Clemmons and wife Holly of Bauxite; two grandchildren, Bradly and Casey Clemmons of Bauxite; two great-grandchildren; the father of her son, Ralph Clemmons; two brothers, J.T. and Paul Lee Wills, both of Benton; and a life-long friend, Don Pirl of Benton.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Ashby Funeral Home.
Cletis Fortner, age 79, of Benton, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014.Â He was born Sept. 6, 1934, in Jonesboro, La.Â
Mr. Fortner was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from AT&T after 30 years.Â
He attended Gravel Hill Baptist Church and was a volunteer firefighter for the Crows Station Fire Department.
Mr. Fortner was preceded in death by his parents, Arley and Vivian Fortner; ta win brother, Cline Fortner; and two other brothers, Johnny and James Fortner.
Joseph Louis "Joe" Benson, 66, of Fort Smith entered into rest on Friday, March 7, 2014, in Fort Smith. He was born July 24, 1947 in Heavener, Okla.
He is survived by four sisters, Jean Rankins of Houston, Texas, Betty Bird of Little Rock, Bessie Halpaine of Benton and Gloria Cochran of Little Rock; and two brothers, Kenneth Benson of Bearden and Gary Benson of Bearden.
A memorial service for Joe will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Lighthouse Church of Benton in Benton.
Lewis Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
