Richard Holmes, 68, of Benton passed away May 30, 2014.
He was born Oct. 15, 1945, in Malvern to Nowell Holmes and Ruby Bridges.
Richard retired from Reynolds Metals' manufacturing lab department. He was an avid bass fisherman and a member of the Southwest Bass Club.
Richard is survived by his wife, Suzie Holmes of Benton; two sons, Michael Holmes (Kristen) of Bossier City, La.,, and Clay Holmes (Sondra) of North Carolina; his mother, Ruby Bridges; two half-brothers, one half-sister; and many other family members and friends who loved Richard and will miss him always.
Judy Kay Smith Hardin, age 72, of Bryant went to be with the Lord Friday, May 30, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.Â
She was born Feb. 24, 1942, to the late Ernest N. Smith and Edna L. Smith Caldwell of Calico Rock.Â
Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Milton Lee â€śChickâ€ť Hardin; and two daughters, Melissa Ann and Lawanna Kaye Hardin.
Leon Detherage, age 86, of Benton passed away Friday, May 30, 2014.
He was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Price, Ark.Â
Mr. Detherage was an Army veteran of World War II and was retired from Reynolds Metals.Â He was a longtime member of Ten Mile Baptist Church.Â
Mr. Detherage was preceded in death by his father, Claude Detherage; his mother, Alice Detherage Henderson; and his wife, Helen Detherage.
Billy Dean Crowson, 87, of Benton passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014.Â
He was born Dec. 7, 1926, in El Dorado to the late William Farris and Mamie Ashcraft Crowson.
Billy was retired from Reynolds Metals, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a Â 32nd-degree Mason and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Penny Crowson; his brothers, John Crowson and twin Bobby Crowson; and his sisters, Pearl Buckelew and Evelyn Faye Bledsoe.
