Gary Ray Weems, 59, of Haskell, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014.Â He was born March 4, 1955 in Little Rock.Â Gary was a truck driver.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rachel Thornberry Weems.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Marshall Weems; six children, Brian Weems (Amanda), Brandie Tarron (Shawn), Andrew Weems (Susan), Amber Sanders (Billy), Jessica McDonald (Matt) and Brittany Moorman (Drew) and his twelve grandchildren were his world.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18 at Ashby Funeral Home.Â
Aaron Calvin â€śHappyâ€ť Westbrook Jr., 88, of Benton, passed away peacefully on Fatherâ€™s Day, Sunday June 15, 2014 at Heartland Rehab in Benton.Â Born Aaron Calvin Westbrook Jr. on April 6, 1926, the second son and third child of A.C. â€śHappyâ€ť Westbrook Sr. and Esta Martin Westbrook in Benton, Arkansas.Â
Michael Lee Ivy, 77, of Benton passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Hot Springs.
He was born Dec. 3, 1936, in McGehee to the late Thomas L. and Eunice DeArmond Ivy.
Mr. Ivy was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and had worked for the state of Arkansas in administrative services management.Â He was also a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of The Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his parents, one brother, Teddy M. Ivy of Texas, and one niece also preceded him in death.
Joanna Hall, age 92, died peacefully at home in Benton on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
Throughout her life she expressed her love for family and friends through her sweet, kind spirit, her quick-to-laugh humor, her warm smile, and her twinkling blue eyes. She was grateful to all who helped her live her last days in her home, a happy place bursting with memories, with wonderful views of the creek and woods filled with creatures including a pair of barred owls.
