William Frederick â€śRickâ€ť Helmich, 61, of Avilla, went to be home with the Lord on Dec. 23, 2014. â€¨â€¨He was born on June 4, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late William Frederick and Laura Lee Mackey Helmich of Avilla, Arkansas. Rick spent his childhood on the family dairy farm and graduated from Bryant High School. He attended Arkansas Tech University and graduated with a degree in geology (1975). He continued his education and earned his Masterâ€™s (geology and geophysics) at University of Missouri.
Robert "Bob" Bowler, 61, of Haskell, passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2014.Â He was born March 17, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Charles Anthony Bowler and Opal Elaine Tilley.Â
Bob worked in electronics and served in the U.S. Army and then the U.S. Navy.Â He was well known in the Haskell Community for being the voice of the Future Cardinals Football teams and the Harmony Grove Cardinals High School Football team.Â Also, he was the weather spotter for Haskell.
Patsy Ruth (Lovell) Krauss, 72, of Benton, went home to her Lord and Savior Dec. 23, 2014.Â She was a retired cook for Brownâ€™s Country Kitchen and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.Â Patsy lived life to the fullest and enjoyed many things, such as cooking, sewing, playing on the computer and on an occasional slot machine, and her beloved Elvis.Â But nothing was more important to her than her own children and grandchildren.Â She lived her life always being there and doing for her family.
