After a life of enjoying hard work and caring for children, Grace Odom left this life to start her new one on Jan. 6, 2015. Born to Arthur and Alice Craig Parris in the north Georgia mountains on June 11, 1930, Grace was lovely and adventurous. She married James Odom at an early age on Sept. 3, 1946. Her husband departed just short of their 50th anniversary.
Rickey O. Collins, 53, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.Â He was born May 23, 1961 in Benton.Â Rickey was a sanitation engineer and a former member of the Odd Fellows.Â
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Louise Fisher and two sisters, Terri Price and Teresa Ledbetter.
He is survived by his father, Jerry Wilson Collins; two sisters, Janice Greer (Eddie) and Jennifer Decker; brother, David Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Tommy Ray Maddox, 70, of Bauxite, born Dec. 30, 1944, passed away Dec. 31, 2014.
He is preceded in death by parents, Ray and Ardelia Maddox; and brother-in-law, Rodney Henry.
Joseph Gomer Howard Jr., 72, of Mabelvale, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Jan. 4, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born on Jan. 8, 1942 to Joseph and Mary Howard in Greenville, South Carolina. Joe was very outgoing, loving and hardworking man; if you knew him then you loved him. He was very proud to have served in the Armed Forces and to be employed with the Pulaski County Special School District where he enjoyed everyday picking up the kids for school and making sure they returned home safe and sound. He is a member of Village Creek Baptist Church.
