J D Caldwell, 91, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. He was born Nov. 3, 1920, in Lonsdale to the late Walter and Dora Caldwell. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Fletcher and Toy Caldwell; one sister, Harriet Harris; and one grandson, Roy Dee Pruitt.
Charles Clifton Pritchard, 84, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, Nov. 10, of natural causes at England Manor Nursing Home in England.
He was born June 14, 1927 to Claud Marion and Alice (Fortune) Pritchard in Little Rock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen (Hartley) Pritchard, one sister, Ruth (Curtis) DuVall, one brother Horace (Doris) Pritchard and one granddaughter, Jennifer Janette Jones.Â
Rick Lee Butzlaff, 59, of Hot Springs and Benton, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, in Hot Springs. Born Feb, 19,1952 in Madison, Wis., he was of the Lutheran faith.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Tonna Butzlaff of Hot Springs and Benton; a son, Ryan Butzlaff of Lowell; his parents, Harry and Shirley Butzlaff of Bryant; three sisters, Sandra Phillips of Arlington, Texas, Nancy Blaylock of Missouri City, Texas, and Shari Butzlaff of Little Rock; three brothers, Robert Butzlaff of Arlington, Texas, William Butzlaff of Russellville and Jim Butzlaff of Bryant.

A memorial service for Randall Craig Anderson, 53, of Judsonia will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
Anderson was born Jan. 23, 1958, to the late Alfred Junior Anderson and Mary Eleanor Knisley Meisenheimer in Batesville. He was a Razorback fan and a NASCAR fan and had a love for all sports.
He is survived by three children, Jessica Anderson, Brittany Mears and husband Matt, and Dillon Toki; two grandchildren, Gabriel Theis and Jackson Mears; a brother, Richard Anderson and wife Sharon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jane “Tootie” Johnson Higgins, 71, passed away Nov. 8 at University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock.
She was born Oct. 10,1940, in Traskswood, to David and Ruby Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, James Kenneth Higgins; one son, Donald David Higgins; two brothers, Skeet and Buster Johnson; a sister, Betty Burnett; two grandchildren, Jonathan and David; and a former daughter-in-law, Deborah Kay Higgins.
Carolyn Joyce “Josie” Puckett Babbs, 71, of Benton died Monday, Nov. 7. She was born April 4, 1940, in Benton.
She was a homemaker and a member of Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Jess Puckett Sr. and Melba Lewis Puckett; her husband, Robert Babbs; and a daughter, Lisa Brown.
James O. Willis, 84, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 6. He was born July 24, 1927, in Saline County to the late Charles and Izoria Willis.Â
James was a truck driver and a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Willis;a and sister, Lillian Porter.Â
He is survived by his brother, Clyde O’Dell Willis of New Iberia, La.; his sisters, Etta Moody of Lonoke and Billie Thorne of North Little Rock; and the extended family of Brother Randy Ward and wife Rita, and his granddaughter, Olivia Ward.
Marjorie Christene Word, 83, of Bauxite died Sunday, Nov. 6. She was born Sept. 5, 1928, in Poyen.
Marjorie was a retired cafeteria worker for Pine Haven Schools, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carva Morris Williams and Erma Williams; her husband, Tilford Leland Word; and her son, Bobby Word.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and John Davis of Benton.
Mary F. Smith, 70, of Haskell, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6. She was born Aug. 27, 1941, in Humphrey, to the late P.A. and Jessie Capps.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Eullie E. “Shorty” Smith.Â
James Parvin Teague, 71, of Bismarck passed away on Nov.12, with his family by his side. James was born on March 28, 1940 in Hot Springs to the late Parvin and Marie Teague. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering on motors. His most treasured times was time spent with his family.
