Teresa Lynn Scarborough, 38, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, November 20, in Fayetteville. She was born November 5, 1974 in Pompano Beach, Florida the daughter of Charles Howard and Rhoda Parker Stroud. She attended Family Baptist Church in Springdale and worked in Child Care.
Velma Pauline Jones Daugherty died on Saturday, Nov. 24 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton after suffering a stroke Friday.
She was 95 years old.
Pauline was born Jan. 23, 1917, in Sayre, in Ouachita County, the daughter of the late Jewell Hudson Jones and Jewel Ann Pearce Jones.
The family moved to Bauxite when Pauline was about 4 years old.
Pauline met her future husband, Warren Kelley "Doc" Daugherty at a church revival in Bauxite. They were married on July 30, 1933. Doc was the love of her life, and when he died on Dec. 2, 1995, they had been married for 62 years.
Mildred Wright Shipp, age 91, of Bryant, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20.Â Mildred was a 50 year member of Bauxite #81 and Bryant O.E.S., a Mother Advisor of Bauxite Bauxite Rainbow Assembly and a Grand Representative to British Columbia Canada.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lee and Leatus Wright; her husband of 73 years, Cyril Shipp and a grandson, Kenny Harrell.Â
She is survived by daughters, Barbara Davis and husband, Kenneth of Sardis and Martha Barr of Searcy; five grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Maurine A. Mills, 99, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, November 21.Â She was born September 7, 1913 in Haskell.Â Mrs. Mills retired from the Arkansas Health Care Center and a member of Northside Church of Christ.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Lola Atchison; husband, Roy E. Mills; brother, Lester Atchison and three sisters, Ethel Mitchel, Bessie Lee Burnett and Vida Westbrook.
Tony Allen Waters, 49, of Paron went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21.Â He was born January 7, 1963 in Little Rock. Tony was an avid hunter and fisherman.Â He loved the outdoors.Â His wonderful personality and great sense of humor will be greatly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Waters and brother, Wendall Waters.
Debbie Griffith Crook, 52 of Avilla, went to be with the Lord on November 20. Debbie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.Â She was a people person and was loved by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Eugene and Juanita Presson, one brother; James, and her first husband; Ralph Griffith.
She is survived by her husband; Rick Crook, three sons; Ricky Griffith and wife, Amber, Randy Griffith and Cody Crook of Alexander.
Drew Nicole Melton, 17, of Benton, passed from this life on November 21.Â She was born March 22, 1995 in Hot Springs, to Fred â€śTedâ€ť Melton and Susan Melton Jacobs.Â Drew was a senior at Benton High School and worked at Arkansas Bone and Joint in Bryant.Â She loved playing all sports, including Golf, Softball, (short stop extra ordinair), Volley Ball, Basketball and her dream, to be on a Swim Team.Â Her plans were to attended University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in the fall.
Pat Collins Bryant, 76, of Benton, left this world on Nov. 19, to join God Almighty.Â Her beautiful smile and â€ścrazyâ€ť personality will be so sadly missed by her family and a host of friends.Â Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Wayne Bryant; and her cherished mother and father, Bill and Dove Collins all of Benton.
Peggy G. Loy Wallace, 82, of Bryant passed away peacefully on Nov. 19.
The Wallaces moved to Bryant in 1963, building the first home in Tanglewood Acres.Â She loved her yard, and was happiest when caring for her family.Â She loved to make homemade rolls at every occasion, often sending them to neighbors. After her youngest son started school, she worked at Bryant Dairy King and later Bobâ€™s Thriftway.
Patsy CampbellÂ Adney, 84, of Benton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 18.Â Patsy was born in Bauxite to Frank and Emily Campbell on March 10, 1928.
She loved to laugh and spend time with her family and friends.Â She was longtime member ofÂ West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church.Â Â
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, James Adney,Â her grandaughter, Randi Ann Adney; and her brother. Frank Campbell Jr.Â
