Jerry Lucille Funderburg

Jerry Lucille Funderburg, 79, of Mabelvale passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
She was born Sept. 10, 1934, in Desha County. 
Mrs. Funderburg was preceded in death by her parents, Dillard Jerry and Edna Brazil; her husband, Ken Funderburg; a daughter, Martha Funderburg; and a brother, Norris Brazil.
She is survived by a son, Dewane Funderburg (Sherry) of Bauxite; a daughter, Deloria Oyler (Edward E. Perry) of Mabelvale; four grandchildren, Aaron Bradford, Jennifer Jordan, Jessica Ray and Richard Perry; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Harry W. Carter

Harry W. Carter, 93 passed away at his home on May 30, 2014. He was born in Little Rock on Jan. 22, 1921, to James R. and Christine S. Carter.
He was predeceased by his father and stepmother, Ruth C. Carter, and mother and stepfather, Juniel C. Taylor, as well as his maternal grandmother, Mary E. Sherry, who helped raise him and whose picture he carried in his wallet until his death.

Debra Arlene Mathis

Debra Arlene Mathis, 60, of Lake Norrell, daughter of Norma Jeanne Jones and stepdaughter of D.E. “Gene” Jones, went home on May 31, 2014, to spend eternity with the Lord; her dad, High Arliss Mathis; and baby brother, Garry Dean McFarlin. She was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Selma, Calif.
She worked as a lab technician at Arkansas Heart Hospital and was a licensed massage therapist. Her laughter, sense of humor, thirst for adventure, and her persona; relationship with God made her the selfless, remarkable person that will be missed by so many.

Nina Faye “Nana” White Lambert, who was born in Little Rock on May 14, 1956, died June 1, 2014 in Bauxite at the age of 58.
She was the youngest of four children and was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Ruby White; and her daughter Tara Michelle Lambert.
She spent her years as an employee of Benton State Bank (Regions) and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She loved her church family and was a devoted mother and Nana.
