Gladys Oleen Henry, 91, of Benton passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. She was born Oct. 11, 1921, in Hot Springs. Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Effie Carpenter; her husband, Rome James Henry; a son, Rodney Doyle Henry; two brothers and four sisters.
Raymond G. Arey, 78, of Haskell, passed away on Wednesday, March 13.Â
Raymond honored God, and country, and adored his family. Born on Dec. 24, 1934, he graduated from Harmony Grove High School in 1954, served his country in the U.S. Air Force and attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. Raymond owned and operated several businesses: Arey’s General Store from 1972 to 1992; Homes 4 U, a mobile home dealership; and RGA Properties, a property management company. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton.

Susan Anne Jeffery, 50, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. She was born March 8, 1963, in Benton. She enjoyed reading, collecting frogs, and cherished her canine companions, Boo and Sam, and grand-dog, Zacky. Susan was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a pharmacy Tech and was a former president, vice president, and board member of the American Association of Pharmacy Technicians.
Rosa Morelli, 88, of Benton, formally of Morrilton, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013. She was born Jan, 25, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Carmine and Rosina Marack Morelli.
Rosa was a secretary and worked in the United States Naval Yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Harrison Stover; brothers, two Louis Calabrese and Anthony Morelli; and three sisters, Adaline Saladino, Anna Wallin and Mary Montmore.
William Carrell McCallister, 75, of Benton, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, from cancer. He was a Christian and a member of Temple Baptist Church in  Benton. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He was born Aug. 23, 1937 in England, Ark., to the late William and Eula McCallister.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother to his five children, Loretta McCallister: three brothers, Luther, Edward, and Roger McCallister; and one sister, Lenora Allen.
Carolyn Greene, 75, passed away March 9 in Hot Springs Village. She was born Feb. 19, 1938, to Larkin and Ida (Benson) Gardner in Hampton.
Carolyn was retired from state government after many years of service, which included serving as an investment manager for Arkansas State Treasurer Jimmie Lou Fisher.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, JT Gardner; and one sister, Anita Rigal.
Evelyn M. Jackson, 87, of Traskwood passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was born Aug. 21, 1925 in Saline County, Arkansas. Mrs. Jackson retired from the Benton Services Center.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary Ferguson; her husband, Charles W. Jackson; a son, Bob Jackson; and a sister, Velma Tucker.
Sylvia Lois Kwiatkoske, 71, of Benton, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant. She was born April 14, 1941 in North Little Rock to the late William Mitchell and Jewell Marie Jenkins Mitchell.
She was of the Methodist faith and retired from the Arkansas Department of Human Services. After retirement, she was employed at Walmart as a cashier for seven years.Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin Kwiatkoske.
George Lee Anderson, 66, of Benton, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. He was born Feb. 10, 1947, in Midway to the late Jessie Lee and Lorene Ashley Anderson.Â
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Darlene Fooks Anderson of Benton; his son, Jeremy George Anderson of Benton; two brothers, Eugene Anderson of White Hall and J. C. Anderson of Texas; and five sisters, Betty Adcock of Bauxite, Winnie Harrison, Geraldine Masoner and Brenda Wheeler, all of Benton, and Katie Reese of Malvern.
Elsie Oleta Barrow, 66, of Benton passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. She was born April 16, 1946, to the late Audrey and Pauline Clemmons in Prescott. She loved her family including her canine companions. She also enjoyed feeding her hummingbirds and going to the beauty shop to spend time with her best friend, Susan Prince.Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Ellen Farrow and James Clemmons.
