Margie Sue Adams, 78, of Benton passed away April 14, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. She was born Dec. 1, 1934, in California.
Margie was a retired cook from Benton Services Center and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Margie Foshee; her husband, Henry Adams; a son, Ronnie Adams; and a daughter, Phyllis Adams.
Henry "Hank" Norris Giles, 86, died peacefully in his home in Las Vegas, Nev., on March 23, 2013. Family and friends were with him.
He is survived by his daughter, Dargey, and her husband and their two sons; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews; grand and great-grand-nieces and nephews.
Julian G. “Bo” Taggart was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Little Rock to F.N. and Willie Taggart.
He died peacefully April 11, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maxine Lively Taggart; a daughter, Glenda Sue Taggart Mesa; two sisters, Katherine Borghetti and Clara Mains; and two brothers, Beyrl and Tom Taggart.
He is survived by three sons, Frank Taggart and wife Iris of Benton, Jim Taggart and wife Robin of Perryville and Dan Taggart of Gainesville, Fla.
Georgia King Fuller, 85, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Searcy Healthcare Center in Searcy. Georgia was born November 14, 1927 in Heber Springs to Shelby and Maggie Osburn Warren. She was a homemaker and attended Sugar Loaf Baptist Church while living in Heber Springs.Â
In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy L. King and Otis Fulmer; and a sister, Alma Marks.
Melba Munnerlyn, 87, of North Little Rock died Wednesday, April 10, 2013. She was born Nov. 23, 1925 in Georgiana, Ala., to the late Emmett and Estelle McClure Byrd, as one of eight children.
She attended school in Little Rock and graduated from Little Rock High School. Melba married Prather Eugene “Rip” Munnerlyn on Aug. 4, 1946.

Ida Nix, 98, of Haskell, went to be with the Lord and Savior on April 11, 2013. She passed away at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. Ida was a housewife and attended the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August “Gus” and Allie Gustafison; her husband, John E. Nix; a son, J.C. Henshaw; and a half-brother, Burt McDaniels.
She is survivors by her son, Jimmy Henshaw of Haskel;l and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charles “Leon” Morehead, 82, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. He was born March 1, 1931 in Sheridan, to the late Charles Earl Morehead and Doris Kelly Morehead.
He was a caring provider who loved golf, sports and fishing. He was retired from Entergy with 40 years of service and the Arkansas Army National Guard with 20 years of service. He was a member of Southwest Lions Club and a faithful member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church for 43 years, where he served as a greeter and nursery worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Del Head, of Sheridan was born July 1, 1970, in Downy, Calif. He is the son of Curtis Roger Head and Donna Kay Elder Marshall. He was a sheetrock worker, calling himself the “sheetrock man." He loved to fish, make people laugh, spend time with his family, and watch Cops. Del died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 42.
He was preceded in death by his cousins, Greg Elder and Perry Samuelson.
William Doyle Atchison, 97, of Owensboro, Ky.., died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care in Owensboro. He was born Oct. 15, 1915, in Arkansas to the late Thomas and Lola Atchison. He retired after 25 years of employment with Thompson Homes and was a member of Richland Baptist Church.Â
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Ulmer Atchison; a brother, Lester Atchison; sisters, Vida Westbrook, Ethel Mitchell, Maurine Mills and Bessie Lee Burnett, all of Benton; and a son-in-law, Larry Trogden.

Jennie Burrow, 31, of Benton passed away Monday, April 8, 2013. Jennie was the daughter of Don and Darlene Burrow and the late Eva Coleman. Jennie was born on July 21, 1981, in Benton. When Jennie was quite young, she was a girl scout and loved scouting. Jennie attended Bryant High School and later graduated from the Eastern College of Vocational Health. She aspired to be a nurse, but in 2007 she decided to join the U.S.
