Herschel Ray Vaughn

Herschel Ray Vaughn, 61, of Hot Springs Village entered into heavenly rest on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, after a long illness.
Herschel lived most of his life in Northeast Arkansas. He enjoyed football, boxing, singing, and telling silly jokes. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Joiner Baptist Church. 
Herschel was the son of the late Charles W. and Bessie Loeda Vaughn of Bassett. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Gordon Vaughn.

Melinda Beth Hancock

Melinda Beth Hancock, 50, of Benton passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014.
She was born to the late James and Fran Glen Campbell on Aug. 21, 1963, in Kansas City, Mo.
Melinda graduated high school in 1981 from St. Teresa’s Academy in Kansas City, Mo. She was a 1985 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University.
Melinda married Chuck Hancock on Aug. 23, 1986. She taught first grade at Malvern Elementary School where she loved her kids.
She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Benton, where her family took an active role.

Faber Harold Grable

Faber Harold Grable, 81, of Bryant was born December 23, 1932 in Guy. Faber passed away on July 25, 2014. Faber retired from federal government service as an Aviation Quality Control Inspector where he oversaw quality inspections for construction of Presidential Air Force One and military aircraft projects. Faber was always eager to help both family and friends. His many acts of caring includes helping his community in disaster relief efforts from recent tornados.
