Eddie Monroe Poe, 73, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014.
He was born Nov. 22, 1940, in Little Rock.
Mr. Poe was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of East End Baptist Church.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Tazel Poe and Merle Bell Poe.
He is survived by two sons, Chase M. Poe of Little Rock and Charles Poe of Hot Springs; s daughter, Amanda Poe of El Paso, Texas; and a brother, Dickie Ray Poe of Hot Springs.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Marvin Lee Hodges, 76, of Bryant passed away peacefully Aug. 31, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Black Hawk, Miss., to Drayton and Grace Hodges.
Marvin had numerous friends over the years and was involved in many organizations. He was of the Methodist faith.
Linwood Talsma, age 92, passed away in residence at Alcoa Pines, Benton, AR.Â He was preceded in death by his dearly loved and beautiful wife, Margaret, and one son, Tom Talsma.
He is survived by four daughters, one son, nine grandchildren and an increasing number of great grandchildren.
He said he accomplished all his goals and was most proud of his family and of the people he was privileged to help learn the truth about Godâ€™s Kingdom.Â We loved you, Daddy.Â We will miss your gentle understanding heart.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
