Mary Lou McKinley, 80, of Hot Springs, formerly of Saline County, passed away on Jan. 4, 2015 at The Atrium at Serenity Point in Hot Springs.
She was the daughter of Raymond Davenport and Claudia Williams.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Lt. Freddie M. "Jack" McKinley; two brothers, Roy and Ray Davenport; and two sisters, Idella Petross and Pauline Mahalec.
Glenn E. Holicer, 84, of Benton passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.Â
He was born in the Pointview community of Saline County to the late Alva and Chester Burks Holicer.
Glenn was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton.
He worked in the lumber industry for 48 years.Â Glenn was sales manager for Holicer-Jones Lumber Co. and was later associated with Toler Lumber Co. of Leola, Arkansas, until his retirement in 1995.
He had a strong desire to be involved in his community.Â Glenn was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Golden Kiwanis until his health began to decline.
Geraldine Johnson Nelson, 92, of Benton, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.Â She was born Sept. 30, 1922 in Benton, to Lee and Edna Johnson.Â Mrs. Nelson was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Benton.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Nelson; brother, Thomas Johnson and a sister, Dorothy Dove.
She is survived by her sister, Retha Elrod of Benton; niece, Jeri Shell (Terry) of Richmond, Texas and two nephews, Rick Elrod (Judy) and Greg Elrod (Vicki) all of Benton.
Curtis Roger Head, of Malvern, age 70, passed away on Dec. 31, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
Mr. Head is survived by his wife, Glenda Head; his sons, Mark Head and Curtis Head, Jr.; his daughters, Samantha Riggs and Tanya Bell; his brother Gail Head; and his stepchildren, Angela Davis, Tricia Wright and Robert Davidson. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and by many other friends and relatives.
