William H. 'Bill' Price

William H. “Bill” Price, 86, of Benton, began walking on streets of gold March 12, 2014.
He was born in 1927 to William and Annis Staton Price in Malvern. He retired from Alcoa after 33 years and was a deacon and member of Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was active as a church leader all of his life. He was a Sunday School superintendent, church treasurer, and deacon for over 50 years, and had become a deacon emeritus.
Bill volunteered for 17 years as the supervisor of Holland Chapel Food Service for all church meals and bereavement foods and had many volunteer assistants.

Barbara Ann Block

Barbara Ann Block, 79, of Sardis passed away March 11, 2014.  She was born April 18, 1934, in Joplin, Mo., to the late Sylvester and Edith Little Couch.
Barbara was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Aultus Block Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Altus ( Kenny) Block Jr.  of Sardis and Michael Block (Theresa) of Bryant; a daughter, Lanita Davis (Jerry) of Bauxite; and three grandchildren.

Della Faye Pelton Lee

Della Faye Pelton Lee of Benton passed from this life into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Feb. 28, 2014.
She was 85. By grace she was saved, through faith alone in her Christ. Known simply as "Dib" to her five siblings and affectionately as "Nanny" to her four grandchildren, Della lived the life of a quiet servant, faithfully serving as a wife and mother of three and loving grandmother.

Joe Wayne Gilbert

Joe Wayne Gilbert, 72, of Bauxite, our father, has gone home to be with Jesus on March 10, 2014. He was born May 4, 1941, to Vernon and Edith Gilbert in Little Rock.
Joe was a lifetime member of Freedom Worship Center and was the owner and operator of Gilberts Landscaping for more than 40 years. He was the president of Happy Trails Riding Club and he loved to work mules and trail riding.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, JC Gilbert, Buddy Gilbert and Larry Gilbert; a sister, Sharon Chandler; and a nephew, Doug Gilbert.
