Carl W. Lyles, 75, of Hot Springs went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 1, 2014.Â He was born Oct., 4, 1938 in Little Rock to the late James E. and Anna Lyles.
He served in the Army National Guard for nine years.
He retired as a supervisor from Lucent Technologies (Teletype) after 32 years of service.
He loved yard work, mowing grass and talking to people about the good old days.Â He never met a stranger and was willing to help everyone.Â He was a wonderful husband and father.
Lawrence â€śBudâ€ť Brotherton Jr., 75, of Traskwood passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his home.
He was born June 26, 1938, in Coy. Lawrence was retired from Alcoa and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence T.Â and Cora Lee Combs Brotherton; a brother, Billy Brotherton; and three sisters, Daisy Brotherton, Carmelita Brotherton and Ruthie Brotherton.
Charles William Brooks, 67, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2014.Â He was born October 15, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William E. and Katherine Trzyna Brooks.Â Charles graduated from England High School and enlisted in the United States Army, afterwards receiving a BSE in Math and Physical Science from UCA and MS Computer Science from Henderson. Charles was employed by Entergy Arkansas and prior to his employment with Entergy, he was the Football Coach for Glenwood Schools.Â Everyone whoÂ knew Charles was aware of his love for coaching Football.
