Dwight Shelton Meeks

Dwight Shelton Meeks, 91, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014.  He was born Sept. 21, 1922, in Chidester, to Luther W. and Leona Rogers Meeks.
Mr. Meeks was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church in Bryant. He was a Gideon and had previously served as a deacon at Cullendale First Baptist Church in Camden.

Jason Edward Tucker, 35, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014. He was bron July 14, 1978, in Little Rock.
He is survived by his daughters, Alea Humes and Hailey Tucker; his father, Donald Tucker of Jacksonville; his mother, Billie Parks Tucker of Little Rock; his grandmother, Betty Parks of Texas; five older siblings and 11 nieces and nephews.
His life will be celebrated by family and friends. Arrangements are by Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., (501)224-2200.

Stanley Hilborn

Stanley Hilborn, 79, of Glen Rose passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Saline Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 21, 1934, in Glen Rose, the son of the late Roy Benjamin and Hattie Floyd Hilborn.
Stanley enjoyed fishing, hunting and being at the lake. He graduated from Glen Rose High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Reynolds Metals, then worked at Benton State Bank for many years.
Stanley was a member of Fairplay Missionary Baptist Church.

Edith L. Cook

Edith L. Cook, 77, of Benton was born Aug. 29, 1936, and passed away Jan. 14, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald D. Cook of 46 years; one son, Doyal Dewayne Cook; her parents, Noah Louallen and Elta Rickard Louallen; and her sisters, Netta Louallen, Gordie Hollowoa, Eunice Travis, Alma Rhodes Keller, Melba Louallen and Louise Green Nelson.
