John A. Swartz

John A. Swartz, 76, of Conway passed away Jan. 1, 2014.  He was born May 25, 1937 in Washington, D.C., to the late Charles B. and Sarah Jane Van Lear Swartz. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Elizabeth A. Marcrum.
John is survived by his brothers, William Swartz and Richard Swartz of Little Rock; and his nieces and nephews, Carol Matthews, Diane Cline, Anne Almstrom-Smith, Donna Sue Foreman, Sharon Riddell, Deborah Gawrieh, Stephen Swartz, Neil Swartz and Elizabeth Ward.

William Howard 'Bill' Wilhite

William Howard “Bill” Wilhite, 80, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955 and was a Signalman on the USS Roulette.
Bill was a member of New Hope Nazarene Church in Little Rock. He loved his church family and never missed an opportunity to offer his gratitude for their prayers and concerns for him.

Leola Dove

Leola Dove, 93, of Benton, passed away Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.  She was born June 1920 in Perryville. 
Mrs. Dove was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dove and her son, Charles Lee Dove.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Swaby and her son-in-law, Leo Swaby; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6 at Pine Crest Memorial Park. 
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 at Ashby Funeral Home.

June A. Cochran Collie

June A. Cochran Collie, 82, of Glen Rose went to be with our Lord and Savior on Jan. 1, 2014. She was born January 23, 1931 in Winchester to the late Moses and Bernice Rogers Cochran. She was a member of Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church and served our savior by teaching others about the love of Christ in Sunday School, serving in Ladies Axillary, and supporting numerous missionaries around the world. She loved reading, writing poetry and reminiscing of days spent with family and friends.
June was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bill Collie, 3 sisters and a brother.
