Walter E. Collatt

Walter E. Collatt, 85, of Haskell passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013. at his home.  He was born Jan. 4, 1928, in Haskell to the late Roy and Lillian Smart Collatt. 
Mr. Collatt was a member of Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church and was employed with Reynolds Mines for 35 years. He was in the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters.

Ruth Mae Smith

Ruth Mae Smith, 83, Benton, died Sunday.  She was born Nov. 19, 1929, in Waldron to the late Bert and Mary Wood Singleton. Ruth worked most of her life in California as a supervisor in electronics production.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Smith. 
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Zapata; two grandchildren, all of California; and a brother, Jody B. Singleton of Benton.
Cremation was through Ashby Funeral Home of Benton.

Pauline Harris Tittle

Pauline Harris Tittle, 90, of Benton, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013.  She was born August 25, 1923 in Benton.  Mrs. Tittle retired as the Assessor of Saline County in 1982.  She was a member of Kentucky Missionary Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and Past Worthy Matron. 
Mrs. Tittle was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie W. and Eula C. Harris; her husband, J. B. Tittle and three brothers, Horace Wilton Harris, Thurman O. Harris and Kenneth L. Harris
