Garlton Adon Carter

Garlton Adon Carter, 73, of Benton left this world to dwell in the House of the Lord on Sept. 7, 2013.
He was born April 6, 1940, to Ralph and Birgie (Pharis) Carter in Dardanelle. He was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a man of great faith and will forever be missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzy (Edwards); his children, Dewayne, Kori, and Brett; grandchildren, Erica, Shawn, Nick, Jake, Dylan, Matthew, Jax, Kennedy, and Emma, as well as five great-grandchildren. 

Phyllis Ann Bearden

Phyllis Ann Bearden, age 63, of Benton died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, in Little Rock. She was born in Malvern on April 5, 1950, to Ralph Parrish and the late Emma Chancellor Parrish. She was reared and received her early education in the Malvern School District and graduated Malvern High School in 1968. She later obtained the level of Licensed Psychiatric Technician Nurse II from the Benton Services Center, now Arkansas Health Center. She was employed there for 33.5 years. Phyllis enjoyed making floral arrangements for weddings and holidays and was a wonderful cook.

Mary Gail Wise

Mary Gail Wise, 71, of Benton, passed away September 5, 2013.  She was born August 1, 1942  in Benton, to the late Floyd and Lucille Moon Mason.  Gail was a Registered Nurse for over 46 years and a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church.
Gail was survived by her husband of 46 years, Jerry Wise of  Benton, daughters, Michelle Garcia and husband, Isidro of Bauxite, Stephanie Perciful and husband, Tim of Seattle, Washington, sister, Jean Taylor of Sheridan, grandchildren, Emily Sikes, Sara Sikes and Adrian Garcia.
