Alice Beaty

Alice Beaty, 88, of Benton passed away Jan. 8, 2015.
She was born July 24, 1926, in Bauxite.
Alice was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony Beaty and Ada Belle Hunnicutt Beaty.
Alice is survived by her sister, Flora Beaty; nieces and nephews, John and Tony Liddell, Robin and Tonya Parks, Tony and Sissy Beaty, Donald and Rhonda Beaty, David Beaty, Felton Beaty, Kenneth Beaty, Wanda and Wayne Fowler, Naomi and Dan Doddridge, Paul and Yoko Hester; and many other family members and friends who loved her and will miss her always.

Linda Lee Hannum

Linda Lee Hannum, 71, of West Fork passed away Jan. 6, 2015. Linda was born May 22, 1943, in Forest Park, Ill., to parents Edward Bishop and Florence Lucarelli Bishop.  She was a member of the Westfork Church of Christ and enjoyed reading.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and maternal grandparents, Leonard and Rose Lucarelli. 
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Hannum of Midlothian, Ill., David Hannum and wife, Angel, of Benton and Dion Hannum and wife, Kimberley, of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Gary L. McGarity

Gary L. McGarity, 64, of Bryant, passed away Jan. 2, 2015. Born May 19, 1950 in Devine, Texas to the late Nathan J. and Wanda A. (Holland) McGarity, he was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. He served in the United States Air Force, and then obtained his HVACR license to install and repair heating and air units.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Helen; daughters, Tamra, Regina and Tara; sons, Larry and Boyd; brothers, Nathan and James; sisters, Loretta, Roxy and Linda; and four grandchildren, John Thomas, Alyse, Cayden and Logan.

Dovie Jean Childress, 66, of Alexander, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015.  She was born March 16, 1948 in Lilbourn, Missouri.  Mrs. Childress retired from Jacuzzi and attended West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. and Christine Joslin; husband, Bruce Childress; three brothers, Roy Joslin, Albert Joslin Jr. and Jim Joslin and three sisters, Marjorie Brown, Lillie Pavey and Gladys Warner.
