The Benton Lady Panthers were swept by Lake Hamilton in three games Tuesday night (16-25, 23-25, 23-25.)
In the first game, Emily Morgan had four kills, Alex Williams had a kill and Erin Jackson had a kill. Hayley Ferguson had an ace.
In the second game, the Benton Lady Panthers had 14 kills. Williams had two, Morgan had four, Allison Reynolds had two and Ferguson had three. Kristen Ryan had two kills and Jackson had one.
Williams had an ace in game two. Reynolds, Morgan and Williams all had blocks.
The Bryant Lady Hornets volleyball team swept the Cabot Lady Panthers 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-17) in 7A Central conference action on Tuesday night in Cabot. The Lady Hornets won their fifth consecutive conference match and improved to 9-3 overall with an 8-2 record in conference, good for second place behind Conway.
“We’ve got another win under us,” Bryant Coach Beth Solomon said. “The girls played well tonight, but not as well as we could have.
“I think they were confident they would win tonight so they didn’t come out and play as hard as they should have.”
