The Bryant Lady Hornets won two games Thursday in a tournament being held in Clarksville, Tenn.
Bryant head coach Debbie Clark said the trip was a bit of a hassle, trying to leave on a bus that wouldnât start and eventually landing themselves in bumper-to-bumper traffic 100 miles outside of Nashville, which required a police escort for the Lady Hornets.
âItâs already been quite a trip,â she said.
However, the team arrived focused and ready to play, winning 6-3 against tournament host Clarksville High School and 15-1 against Clarskville Northwest.

With a runner on second and one out in the bottom of the first, Henry hit a home run to the opposite field to give Benton a 2-0 lead early in the game.
âJoseph has a lot of power and we are glad to have him back in the line up,â coach Mark Balisterri said. âHe is definitely going to be a big plus for this team.â
