At the Sheridan Wood Bat Tournament, Benton Jr. Legion Sport Shop lost three games, including the final game 15-3 to Little Rock Blue Post.
Little Rock scored seven in the first, three in the second and five in the third. Sport Shop had two in the second and one in the third.
Little Rock had 15 runs on 10 hits with three errors. Benton had three runs on five hits with one error.
Ethan Hendrix pitched 2 2/3 innings, allowing seven hits with a strikeout and three walks. Jay Davies pitched 1/3 of an inning, allowing three hits with three walks.
MOUNTAIN HOME â€” McClendonâ€™s Appliance of Benton rallied for six runs before the Pontotoc, Miss., Red Sox nailed down an 8-6 win in the top of the seventh inning in the semifinals of the Twin Lakes Classic Sunday at Cooper Park.
Cory Smith, Jake Smithey and Dylan Earnest each produced RBIs in a three-run first inning for the Red Sox, and Jay King added an RBI double in the second.

The Benton Panthers won 10-4 against Marion in Saturdayâ€™s championship game of the Benton Summer High School Showcase Tournament.
Carson Holloway started on the mound for Benton, pitching all seven innings and giving up four runs (three earned) on nine hits with eight strikeouts and two walks.
The Panthers (12-1) made their way to the championship game Saturday by beating North Little Rock 5-3 Friday night.
