BRYANT – The Bryant Hornets hosted the Little Rock Catholic Rockets in 7A Central conference play on Tuesday and came away with a 4-1 victory.

The Hornets (12-2, 2-1 7A Central) scored all four of their runs in the second inning with two outs. After sophomore Chase Tucker struck out, junior Hayden Daniel grounded into a fielder’s choice to third base, who stepped on the bag to put runners on first and second.

BRYANT – Bryant senior distance runner Skylar Oswalt joined teammates Ashlyn Lessenberry and Stacy Emmerling to run cross country at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia when she signed a letter of intent Wednesday morning at the Bryant Gym. According to cross country Coach Danny Westbrook, Henderson may need to change their mascot.

“This is the third signing with Henderson State with Ashyln Lessenberry and Stacy Emmerling,” Westbrook said. “The Lady Reddies are going to have to change their mascot to the Lady Hornets. We’re soon going to have our team down there.”
