BRYANT- The Bryant Hornets used a late fourth-quarter run in a 52-35 victory over the Texarkana Razorbacks on Tuesday night. The Bryant Hornets improve to 17-9 (6-6) on the year. The Hornets have won 6 of their past 8 games after starting the 7A/6A South 0-4.
“We hit a few shots early,” Bryant coach Mike Abrahamson said. “We made some plays.”
The Benton Panthers cruised to their third 7A/6A South conference championship in six years on Tuesday night at Benton Arena with a 66-42 rout of the Lake Hamilton Wolves. It was Benton’s 14th consecutive win as the Panthers have been cruising all season long sporting a 23-2 overall record and 12-0 in the South.
“It’s a special night,” Benton Coach Chris Nail said. “They’re winners. That’s just how they are. They win. The thing about this group is nobody ever cares about stats. It’s just a special group.”
