Lee F. Conway, 87 of Benton passed away Tuesday, April 05, 2011.
He was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Parents W.E. Conway and Annie Brown Conway.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benton.
Shirley Budinger, 75, of Mabelvale died Sunday, April 3, 2011.
She was born Dec. 13, 1935, in Wellsville, N.Y.
Shirley was a retired Automobile Factory worker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Ernestine Louise Sadler; and a sister, Judy Sadler.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Budinger of Mabelvale; son, Randall Greene; daughter, Shelly M. Raymond; brother, Lloyd â€śDavidâ€ť Sadler; half brother, Edward; sisters, Connie Sadler, Beverley Blondell and Khrista Kerry; half sister, Susan Petterman; and six grandchildren.
Doris Ann Brown, 70, of Bauxite passed away April 6, 2011.Â
She was born Dec. 5, 1940, in Saline County to the late John and Frankie Greer.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Greg Brown; and brothers, Carroll Greer and Adrian Eugene Greer.
After being rained out Monday, Glen Rose and Mayflower decided to give it another go Tuesday with the Beavers winning 3-0 and the Lady Beavers winning 15-1.
Both the boys and girls teams are undefeated in 3A Conference play,
Glen Rose was scheduled to be the visitor Monday, but accepted hosting duties Tuesday as a result of Mayflowerâ€™s field conditions.
Beavers head coach Chase Meyers said, â€śThat was the best game weâ€™ve played as a team,â€ť adding that sophomore Colin Hunter, who earned the save on the mound and made the play of the game at third base, â€śhad a great game all around.â€ť
