Bill Brotherton Jr., 69, of Benton passed away Monday, March 12, 2012, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant.
He was born May 5, 1942, in Bauxite to the late William E. Brotherton Sr. and Arie Green.
Mr. Brotherton was a disc jockey in his early years and worked at the Arkansas Health Center for 35 years.
He was an avid fan of the Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals, and Bauxite Miners.

For my generation of adults, nothing says spring louder and with more fanfare than the beginning of baseball season. In the 1960s, baseball was “the national pasttime” long before the Super Bowl became super and the NBA gained traction. For pure nostalgia, you can’t beat baseball.

Moore to seek re-election to council

Benton resident Brad Moore has announced candidacy for a 5th term as Ward 4/Position 1 Alderman on the Benton City Council.
Moore lists his accomplishments as alderman as actions of which he is proud and which include:
