Mary Geneva Richmond, 77, of Haskell passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. She was born June 23, 1937 in Benton.
Geneva was a housewife and a member of Celebration Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, D.W. Martin and Flora Mae Hays Martin; her husband, John Floyd Richmond; a son, Ricky Richmond; a grandson, Johnny Clay Richmond;and two great-grandsons, Evan Francis and Jonas Witham.
Raymond James Stout, infant son of Bradley and Ashley Stout of North Little Rock, passed away on Oct. 18, 2014. He was born Sept. 12, 2014, in Little Rock.
Raymond is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Aaron and Joyce Boyer of Hawarden, Iowa, Jimmy and Carol Stout of Benton, Scott and Gina Vreeman of Ireton, Iowa; his great-grandmother, Barb McPherson of Hawarden, Iowa; an uncle, Jett; an aunt, Molly Stout; a cousin Lydia Stout; and many other family members and friends. Although his life on earth was short, Raymond was loved deeply and will be missed by all.
Caleb Alsup, 33, of Benton passed away Oct. 18, 2014.Â He was born Aug. 18, 1981, in Benton.Â Caleb worked as a floor refinisher.Â
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Murl Alsup Sr., Ann Box Alsup, Lewis E. Buras and Doris Becegeray.
He is survived by his wife, Yalinda Alsup; two sons, Walker and Dominic Alsup; a daughter, Courtney Alsup; his mother, Anna Alsup; his father, John Alsup; and three sisters, Ann Baker (Wade), Shawn Carpenter and Sarah Beccerril (Aurelio).Â
Bryant Police Department is investigating the death of a 5-month-old child.
Police were called to the baby's home on Chelsea Street after he was reported to be unresponsive around 6 p.m. on Monday.
The child was transported to Saline Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said Bryant Police Chief Mark Kizer.
"Bryant police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the infant's death," he said. "No further details are available at this time."
