Earl Ray Robinson, 69, of Laurel, Miss., and Alexander, passed away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
He was born in Odessa, Texas, and lived most of his life in Laurel, Miss., where his family was active at First Baptist Church.

Lona Balding

Lona Balding, 98, of Benton, passed away Oct. 8, 2014.  She was born Sept. 15, 1916, in Benton to the late William R. and Laura Robinson Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Balding; and two sons, James M. Balding Jr. and Gary R. Balding.

Mark Foote

Mark Foote, 53, of Benton, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2014. 
He was born Sept. 1, 1961. in Memphis, Tenn. 
Mark was a respiratory therapist at Baptist Health Medical Center and a member of First United Methodist Church in Benton.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Foote; two daughters, Lauren Foote and Meghan Foote of Benton; his parents, Edwin and Maelyn Foote of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a brother, David Foote and wife Christine of Palm Bay, Fla.

Leon C. Pickard

Leon C. Pickard, 80, of Benton, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2014.
He was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Eureka Springs to the late Frank and Stella Crump Pickard.
Leon was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Benton, worked at Reynolds Metals Co. and served in the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged from the Army on Oct. 29, 1956, with the rank of private first class.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Alger, Elden, and Hollis Pickard; and a sister, Melba McCarrol.
