A Little Rock man was charged with several counts of computer fraud for allegedly collecting donations for a child with a brain tumor and then keeping the money for personal use.
Houston Franks, 26 of Little Rock, has been charged with eight counts of computer fraud and theft of property for allegedly collecting $3,719.91 through a fundraising website and then using the money for personal use. For the full story, see Saturday's edition of The Saline Courier.

A woman who allegedly used a stolen credit card to make large purchases in Bryant has been arrested.
Days after the Bryant Police Department asked for residents' assistance in locating Brandy Leeann Griffin of Hot Springs National Park, she was arrested in Little Rock, said Sgt. Todd Crowson, Bryant Police Department spokesperson.
Griffin, 26, allegedly used the stolen credit card to purchase $2,435.92 worth of merchandise from Walmart and about $1,850 worth of merchandise from Lowes.
