Now there are even more ways to connect with the Saline Courier. Recently, The Courier purchased a Go Pro. This camera allows us to capture footage an photographs that would otherwise be unattainable.

Devon Wyatt Gentry, age 4, of Benton went to heaven on April 30, 2014.Â
He was born on Nov. 22, 2009, in Little Rock.Â Devon was a member of Lighthouse Church in Benton.
He is survived by his mother, Chanta Southworth; his father, Calvin Gentry; two brothers, Cylus Gentry and Daelynn Gentry; his grandparents, Patty Gossage, Jennifer Wear and Mark Southworth; his great-grandparents, Charlotte Gossage and Iva Wear; and his aunts and uncles, Haley Southworth, Jacob Bryan, James Bryan and Mikeal Gossage.
Shirley Holmes (Collatt), 78, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014, at her home in Haskell.Â She was born on May 17, 1935 in Haskell, to the late Roy and Lillian (Smart) Collatt.
Shirley was a longtime member of Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.
She enjoyed writing letters and sending birthday cards to her many special friends as well as sewing, cooking and spoiling her grandkids.
She worked for many years for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Holmes, in January 2010.Â They were happily married for more than 54 years.
