Minnie J. Easter, 98, was embraced in her Heavenly Saviourâ€™s arms on June 25, 2014.
She was born in Saline County to Martin and Rena Neighbors on July 6, 1915.Â Minnie started work at the age of 12.Â Her first job was at the Owasso plant in Benton, where she made potato crates for 25 cents an hour.
She has donated items to the Gann Museum.Â She worked at all of the furniture factories in Benton until she retired from Arkansas Face Veneer.Â
After retirement, she went to work as a housekeeper for Phillip and Cissy Brown until the age of 85, when she stopped working due to health reasons.
Harvey Lee Vaughan, 81, of Benton died Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was born Jan. 8, 1933, in Bearden to the late â€śJackâ€ť Basil Byron and Mabel Ione (Adams) Vaughan and was a lifetime truck driver.Â
Harvey served in the Navy during the Korean War and also spent time in the Army Reserve.
In addition to his parents, one daughter, Sandra Lee Colbert, and one brother, James E. Vaughan, preceded him in death.
