Saline County sheriff's deputies found a vehicle belonging to Steven Roach, 24, who is reported missing from Lonoke County
The vehicle, a 1999 tan GMC Jimmy, which was found in the woods near White Oak Pond Drive in Mabelvale, according Lt. Scott Courtney, Saline County Sheriff's Office spokesperson.
Roach was last seen in North Little Rock wearing a red Arkansas Razorback T-shirt and dark pants. His family has not had contact with him since July 11, according to Lt. James Kulesa, Lonoke County Sheriff's Office spokesperson.
Barbara Sue Hines, 75, of Buckville passed away July 15, 2014.
She was born Feb. 23, 1939, in Bauxite to the late John and Ethel Hendrix Jones.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Roy, sons, Richard and Paul Hines of Buckville; her daughters, Debra Bellinger of Benton and Eugenia Sledd of Bauxite; a brother, James Buddy Jones of North Carolina; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Lillie Dale Halbert Baxley, 101, of Little Rock went to join her heavenly father on July 15, 2014.
Born Jan. 17, 1913, in Mt. Olive, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Bob and Lizzie Halbert. She was a homemaker most of her life with a brief career at Munsey Toaster.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard "JL" Baxley; three daughters, Betty Sue Rhodes, Creda Sandlin and Juanita Batman; four brothers; six sisters; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A flash flood watch has been issued for much of Central Arkansas, which includes Saline, Conway, Faulkner, Garland, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, and Yell counties.
The watch was issued by the National Weather Service, and extends into late Friday evening.
As much as 3 to 5 inches of rain is expected to hit Central Arkansas from Thursday to Friday evening, according to the NWS.
