Stella Lavern Rusher

Stella Lavern Rusher, 75, of Benton, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014.  She was born Jan. 10, 1939, in Ellensburg, Wash., to the late Clarence and Ruth Henson.  Mrs. Rusher had worked in the jewelry department at Walmart.
She is survived by three children, Albert Curtis Day and wife Sarah of Benton, Debbie Montgomery Sensing and husband Dale of Benton, and Franklin Keith Day and wife Yvonne of Yellville; two grandchildren, Michael R. Montgomery and Carrie Dawn Day Willis and husband Bruce; and a great-granddaughter, Lila Mae Willis.
A private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Tommy Dwight Thompson

Tommy Dwight Thompson, 64, of Benton was born Aug. 3, 1949, in Forrest City, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Aug. 2, 2014, which is also the day that he married the love of his life, Janice Boyle. They were in Branson celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary when he passed away.
Dwight loved his church, serving many years as an elder of Zion Lutheran Church. He will be remembered for his radiant smile and contagious laughter. His sense of humor always brought light to any situation. He was loved and will be missed by all his family and friends.

Lillian Louise Lewis

Lillian Louise Lewis, 85, of Benton passed away Aug. 3, 2014 in her home.  She was born July 28, 1929, in Charleston to the late Henry and Hetty Tucker.  She was a housewife. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Eugene Lewis; her daughters, Lessie Gallo, Mureldean Lewis, and Linda Walker; a sister, Martha Traylor; and a brother, Bob Tucker.
