Forecasters issue wintry weather outlook, watch for Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK (AP) — Forecasters say a thawing Arkansas should brace for another round of snow and sleet.

The National Weather Service in North Little Rock issued a hazardous weather outlook for Tuesday and a winter storm watch for Wednesday.

The outlook covers much of the state and does not project any additional wintry precipitation through Tuesday night. Many roadways remain icy after 2-3 inches of snow fell Monday on much of central and western Arkansas.
