Graydon Bridges Hardister, 80, of Benton passed away November, 1, 2014. He was born May 22, 1934 to the late James Buckner and Eunice Bridges Hardister in Reydel.
Clara Sue Woodrum, 79, of Benton left her earthly ties to dwell with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014.
She was born March 1, 1935, in Bauxite, to William Broadway and Fannie (Stroup) Broadway, both of whom have passed.
Claraâ€™s great passions were being surrounded by her family, preserving and canning fruits and vegetables, as well as serving the Benton Senior Wellness and Activity Center as a volunteer for many years. She loved all of the folks there and was especially known for her ability to get them moving about in dance sessions.
Henry Lee Jones, 85 of Benton, formerly of Curtis, died Thursday, October 30, 2014.Â He was born August 1, 1929 in Clark County the son of Henry Jones and Marie Floyd Elrod.Â He retired as an electrician for Reynolds Metals after 35 years of dedicated service.Â He was a hard worker and deeply loved his wife, children and grandchildren.Â He was a memberÂ of First Southern Baptist Church in Bryant.Â While in Curtis, Henry served as Deacon at First Baptist Church of Curtis, Deacon at Park Hill Baptist andÂ Second Baptist Church of Arkadelphia.Â
