Ms. Carol Ada Lewis Williams, 73, of Benton, passed away Jan. 3, 2015. She was born Feb. 22, 1941 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late George Dewey and Bertha Rose (Albrecht) Lewis.
She was clerical clerk for Oakit Company in New York City, a member of First Lutheran Church in Benton, past president of VFWLA #2256, past president of MORA PT 13, three times past noble grand of Faith Rebeka #59, past grand of Saline #174, Benton, and a member of Women of The Moose, Benton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Raymond Joseph Smith.

Geraldine Johnson Nelson, age 92, of Benton passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2015. 
She was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Benton, Arkansas. to Lee and Edna Johnson. 
Mrs. Nelson was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Benton. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Nelson; a brother, Thomas Johnson and a sister, Dorothy Dove.
She is survived by her niece, Jeri Shell (Terry) of Richmond, Texas; and two nephews, Rick Elrod (Judy) and Greg Elrod (Vicki), all of Benton.
Graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at

Harry Austin Prince, 87, of Benton died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015. 
He was born Oct. 31, 1927, in Balch, Arkansas, to the late Alfred Lee and Dorothy Mae Prince.
He was a truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Opal Mae Prince; a brother; two sisters; a daughter; a son; and two grandsons.
