Charles Lewis Keim, 59, of Benton passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014. He was born Jan. 25, 1955, in Benton to Dutch and Mary Ethyl Keim.
He loved to hunt, camp, and fish when he got the opportunity. He was dedicated to his work at WLS Sawmill in Benton, where he worked for 30 years.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Janice.
Melver Evelyn Collins Hardin, 96, of Benton died Sunday, March 23.Â She was born Jan. 14, 1918, in Monticello to the late Sam and Mary Elisabeth (Burrough) Collins and worked for the Bryant School District. She attended Benton First Assembly of God. Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Beb Hardin; her son, Jimmy Hardin; a granddaughter, Brandy Hardin; two brothers and five sisters.
Peter Paul Karczmarczyk III passed away March 23, 2014, in Little Rock.
He was born June 27, 1963, in Fort Madison, Iowa.
Pete lived a full life working in construction, farming and truck driving. He loved to fish and hunt. He was stricken down early in his life with a painful disability.

Doris W. â€śBudâ€ť Adams, age 90, of Benton passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014.Â
He was born May 22, 1923, in Bauxite.
Mr. Adams retired from the Army, having served in World War II, Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict.Â
He was a welder and a member of Benton Foursquare Church.Â
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, William and Viola Adams; his wife, Sadie Pauline Adams; and a brother, Billie Adams.
Jimmy Richard Smith, 83, of Benton passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014.Â
He was the son of Richard and Floy Smith, who preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by an infant sister, Louise; and his brother-in-law, H. A. Steele.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bertha Mae Dobbs Smith; a daughter, Deborah of Benton; two sisters, Patsy Smith Steele and Pam Smith Newcomb (Gary) of Benton; two brothers, Ronnie Mac Smith (Brenda) of Benton and Robert â€śBobâ€ť Smith (Sue) of Pine Bluff; and several nephews, nieces and close friends.
Christine Brown, 62, of Hot Springs Village, a devoted Christian and loving wife and mother, went to her eternal home in heaven on Friday, March 21, 2014, in Hot Springs.
Chris was born in Panama City, Fla., to Leslie and Mary McCullough on Oct. 3, 1951.
She was raised with her sister, Gearldine, and her brother, Jim. She graduated from Vernon High School in 1970 and was beloved by her classmates in Vernon, Fla.
Robert Manning Jones, age 82, of Bryant passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014. He was born May 11, 1931, in Hope, Arkansas.
Robert graduated from Henderson State University and was a member of Kappa Sigma Kappa. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Bryant First United Methodist Church.
Robert owned and operated a construction company with his son in Bryant for more than 20 years.
He was an avid runner and once completed the Houston Marathon.
James D. â€śWayneâ€ť Holiman, age 48, of Benton passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. He was born Feb. 22, 1966, in Benton.
Wayne was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Benton.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorene and Elbert Holiman, Rodney Nash and Delphine Fields; and two uncles.
He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Gwen Holiman of Benton; and his uncle, Ronnie Holiman of Benton.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, at Ashby Funeral Home with Brother Michael Warford officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
David E. Earl passed away March 20, 2014.
He was born Feb. 6, 1921, in New Milford, Conn., to Ivan H. and Grace (Shrack) Earl and was one of 14 children.
David made his home in Galliano, La., prior to moving to Benton in 2008. He served in the Navy and was a retired auto mechanic.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bounds Earl; his son, John Earl; and sons-in-law Tom Roberson and Barney Sikes, as well as his brothers Ivan, Clifford, Doug, Lester, Nellis, Chester and Kenneth.
He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Sikes of Benton and Judy Roberson of Larose, La.
