2 suspects still loose after robbing Malvern National Bank

Monday at approximately 4:16 p.m., officers with the Benton Police Department responded to Malvern National Bank on Military Road on report of a robbery. Upon officers arrival it was determined that an actual robbery had occurred and the two robbers had fled the scene.

The two suspects entered the bank and then demanded money after displaying a pistol toward a clerk. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, both suspects fled the bank on foot traveling toward the direction of Ferguson Drive.

One suspect is a white male who was wearing a mask that resembled the "Mario Brothers" video game characters. The other suspect is a white female wearing dark colored sunglasses and a hat.
