3rd weekend wreck claims life of Little Rock woman

Michelle Huddleston, 60, of Little Rock was killed in a head-on collision Sunday on Arkansas 5 near Owensville.

Huddleston's 2007 Honda Pilot was traveling southbound on Arkansas 5 when it was hit by a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police.

Samuel Phillip Yarberry, 16, of Bryant left the roadway on the right, overcorrected, crossed the center line and hit Huddleston, according to the report.

Huddleston was pronounced dead at the scene by the Saline County Coroner's office. Yarberry was transported to Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton with injuries sustained in the wreck.
