Albert J. Linker

Albert J. Linker, 69, of Alexander passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 21, 1944, in Woodson.
Albert was a retired diesel mechanic, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member or Village Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Linker and Verdna Mae Mills Linker.
He is survived by a son, Joe Allen Linker of Little Rock; a daughter, Shellie Watson and husband Michael of Cypress, Texas; a sister, Dot Jones and husband Wayne of Paron; and five grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Village Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Needs Creek Cemetery near Conway.
Arrangements are by Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Village Creek Baptist Church,13224 Sardis Road, Mabelvale, AR 72103 
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 8, at the funeral home.
