Altha P. Mallory

Altha P. Mallory, beloved “Ma Ma,” went to be with the Lord on Jan. 18 at the beautiful age of 101. She was born on Oct. 9, 1910, in Crockett, Texas.
“Ma Ma” was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Keene and Jim Mallory; a daughter, Effie Hulme; a great-grandson, Shane Tyer; and a special granddaughter-in-law, Doris Tyer.
She is survived by her three loving grandchildren, Ron Tyer, Danny Tyer and Brenda Wingfield; five great-grandchildren, Tiffany Wyatt and husband Mike, Juston Tyer, Shannon Tyer and husband Michael, Charles Schroeder and wife Jennifer, and Rhonda Schroeder; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of “Ma Ma’s” life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Jan. 20, at the funeral home.
