Alyce Marion Hewett Mork

Alyce Marion Hewett Mork of Little Rock, passed away April 14. She was born on June 29, 1926 in Lewisville, to the late Francis and Alyce Hewett. Marion was a member of St. Andrew’s Methodist Church and after becoming disabled, looked forward to watching Joel Osteen and other television evangelists. Marion, along with her parents, owned and operated Alyce-Francis Cleaners for over 60 years. She was a faithful member of the Billy Graham Association. She had a great love for animals and her dog, Mindy, was by her side until the end.
Marion is survived by three daughters, Lynn Wood and husband, David of Stuttgart; Gail Laster of Little Rock; and Robin Kaye Laster-Wilson of Bryant; grandchildren, Kyle Wood and husband, Simone; Amy Watson and husband, Jon; Matt Wood; Shane Adkins and wife, Natalie and Jill Rough and husband, Jamey; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rhiannon, Rylie, Taylor, Spencer, Kaylee, Evan, Callie and Madison and her dog and best friend, Mindy.
A graveside service were held Monday, April 16 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Robbie Horne conducting the service.
Services are under the direction of Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210 or the music ministry of the First Baptist Church, 2115 S. Prairie, Stuttgart, Arkansas 72160.
