Andrew Daniel Harness, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, in Little Rock. He was born Jan. 23, 1992, to Van and Lisa Harness in Little Rock.
He was a member of Westside First Baptist Church and the Greers Ferry baseball team from 1996 to 2010. He went to the state playoffs at Baum Stadium in 2010. He was a 2010 graduate of Westside High School of Greers Ferry. He had enlisted in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Van “Vanny” Lee Harness; and his grandparents, Cecil and Irene Harness.
He is survived by his mother, Lisa Harnessl three sisters, Grace Harness of Springfield, Mo., Anna Harness of Benton and Rose Milligan and husband Brian of Jonesboro; his fiancee, Nycole Morris, and her children, Dillion, Madison, and Connor; his grandparents, Maynard and Joan Bowers of Benton; four uncles, Clytee Harness and wife June of New Port Richey, Fla., Lanny Harness and wife Nena of Greenbrier, Don Bowers of Alexander, and Robin Bowers of Benton; many cousins, a large church family and man friends.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct., 21, at WestSide First Baptist Church in Greers Ferry.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 20, at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Homes, Greers Ferry Ambulance fund or WestSide First Baptist Church.
