Ann B. Johnson

Mrs. Ann B. Johnson, 73, of Salem, Ore., formerly of Benton, went to be with her heavenly Father on April 3, 2014.
Ann was born Sept. 28, 1940, and was a retired purchasing agent for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.
She was a member of Capital Baptist Church in Salem. She loved playing cards and domino games with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She loved to read, especially espionage and mystery novels.
Ann is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harvey Johnson of Salem; her daughters, Mrs. Tamela (Bill) Pollack of South Lebanon, Ohio and Mrs. Jo (Jeff) Stell of Salem; and a son, Michael (Melanie) Johnson of Shreveport, La.
Ann is also survived by five grandchildren, Alison Johnson, Jamie Stell, Blake Johnson, Anna Stell and Daniel Pollack.
A memorial service for Ann will be held at 11 a.m. April 19 at Capital Baptist Church, 3000 Lansing Ave. NE in Salem, Ore.
Arrangements are under the direction of Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service, 605 Commercial St SE, Salem, OR.
