Annie Pauline Terry Turner

Annie Pauline Terry Turner, 99, passed away Aug. 17, at her home in Benton. She was born Jan. 23, 1912 in Coryell County, Texas, Pauline lived most of her life in Bastrop, Louisiana.
She is survived by her son Terry Turner of Clayton, MO; daughters Emily Turner Laurel and Rebecca Turner Bourne, both of Benton; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Campbell Turner and two sons, Eugene Campbell Turner, Jr., and Ted Everett Turner.
She was a lifelong and active Presbyterian. Pauline worked for many years in the family dimestore business in Bastrop, La., before entering a second career in San Antionio, Texas as a civilian with the Defense Department.  After retirement in 1983, she entered a third career as a nanny in Beaumont, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at the First Presbyterian Church in Benton.  The graveside service will be at Memorial Gardens in Bastrop, LA, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20.
