Ashley Nichole James, 25, of Benton went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, Feb. 20. 
She was born Feb. 16, 1987, to Greg and Paula James in Hot Springs.  She was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Paula DePriest James; her grandfather, Steve O. DePriest; and her great-grandparents, Gordon and Gladys Wright.
Ashley is survived by her father, Greg James; two brothers, Tanner James and Hunter James; her maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Robert LeQuieu; her paternal grandparents, Mary Ellen and Lamar James; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and church family, who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Ashley’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant with the Revs. Richard Hamlin and Muncy Harris officiating.  Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery in Benton. 
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at the funeral home.

Family comments: Ashley touched everyone’s life with her beautiful smile and her heart of gold.  She cherished her family and friends and held them very close to her heart.  Ashley enjoyed modeling, singing and dancing.
